Happy Birthday Tommy

Tommy has reached the grand old age of 7 today.  What a birthday treat I have in store for him……but don’t tell him or he might make a run for the hills kicking up a cloud of dust behind him, except that its raining here and I see there is snow on the Upper Pennines.  Better pop my thermal coat in the saddle bag.  Tommy is still shedding his.  He will get an extra big hug today and a few extra treats.

My cards arrived in the post yesterday.  As a last minute attempt to spread the word, I decided to print up some of these small but handy-sized ‘business’ cards (via Moo), thinking it would be a convenient way of passing on our details to anyone we meet along the way who has expressed an interest in following our progress or, more importantly, would like to donate to my cause.  They have my contact and blog details on one side and in the box of 100 cards, I managed to find 100 different images for each one of the reverse sides depicting the ribbon theme.

Audio Interview: If you would like to hear a bit more about this pilgrimage, then do have a listen to this delightful conversation I had with the Alternative and Holistic practitioner, Bart Schroeven, here, who has also added horse whispering to his practice.  It was taken from a recent Skype session we had for his Cocoon Of Light website, (or fb page, here).  (Tho’ I have to add, I can hardly bear to listen to my own voice!)

  1. Happy birthday to Tommy 🙂
And thank you for linking to my site. I really enjoyed our interview. Don’t worry about your voice though. A lot of people feel that way when they hear a recording of their voice, because it sounds different from when you hear yourself as you speak.
By the way, if people like to read the interview instead of listen to it, here’s the link to the blog post: http://www.cocoonoflight.com/pilgrim-and-her-horse/
